I recently purchased a DJI Phantom 4 Drone. I will eventually try to incorporate its use into some of my photography. I will be evaluating its use, to see if it would add different perspectives to my landscape photography. I don’t really do that much in the area of video, but took a quick trip to the Red Rock Canyon and Jawbone Canyon areas to check out how well the drone’s camera operates. Below is a link to the video. Time will tell as the camera systems on these drone’s improve and become higher in both quality and stability.

I also recently acquired my Small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) pilots license under FAA Part 107 in case in the future I capture an image that I may sell. In order to use a drone for business related aspects, you must fly under Part 107 and that requires a sUAS license.
